This is my first rack i've purchased, and so far I am really pleased with it. It took me about 30-45 mins to set up. all the markings are neatly placed and the instructions are clear.it's not mentioned in the item description, but it comes with a pack of mounting screws for your devices and cable holders that can be mounted on the top of the rack to hold your cables.the packaging was pretty good too. i was left with a bunch of plastic wrap after, but oh well.i currently have my dell poweredge r410 server mounted on it with sliding rails. i have (2) 2TB drives with (2) 500GB drives (4 drives total), which means it's pretty heavy. if i slide it out all the way, i can feel the rack becoming a bit unbalanced, but you can adjust the depth of the rack and the sliding rails to accommodate the weight of the server. I also have my switch, PSU, and patch panel mounted on it, and it looks great. I can wait for the company to expand so i can load it up with stuff. I would definitely purchase another if I find the need to. For the price, this is you best buy...in my opinion.

My first equipment rack. Very solid; might be literally bulletproof. I like the markers that divide the rack vertically into 1U units; much easier than counting holes to make sure things line up. Can be 22-38" deep (and can even be adjusted after assembly, though I'd recommend not trying that with equipment in it); adjustments are also labeled to simplify lining up the various pieces required for the change.

This rack arrived in two days from Amazon via Fedex. I was pretty impressed in the shipping speed. The rack is not terribly heavy. I can lift it by myself without much issue. However, as many people here have experienced, the shipping box is very weak. Both ends of my box were torn opened during shipping, and the rack posts were sliding out on either end. Needlessly to say, they were scraped up pretty badly. However, I was more concerned of lost parts. I didn't want to have to deal with Tripp Lite to get any missing parts. This wastes time and productivity. Luckily, nothing from inside was missing. I lucked out this time, but I definitely would not push my luck another time.Other than a torn box, the four vertical rails were also bent. It was likely due to being dropped during shipping. I had to manually bend them back straight. It took about 30 minutes or so to get them perfectly straight again. I think Tripp Lite needs to revise the packaging of this item. The way it is now is definitely not good.In terms of the rack, it seems good. It is the cheapest rack that I can find. It is functional, and easy enough to put together. The adjustable depth feature is useful. However, don't even think of adjusting it when you have equipment on it.
