I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about purchasing this mount because there was only one review on it...This is why I am writing, to try and put other peoples mind at ease.First let me say that this mount is very strong and yet allows the TV to move without having to strain a muscle!I installed this mount by myself in under a half an hour!The width of the mounting brackets give the TV and mount a great deal of rigidity because it is displacing the forces over a wider area.This mount collapses down to 3.3" (8.38cm) and is hardly visible with my 40" LED TV on it.It turns left and right with ease. And you can even tilt it forward 15° easily, there are four adjustment screws for making this movement harder or easier.So, I would recommend that you purchase this if you are looking for a strong, sturdy and extremely low profile mount!

The unit is perfect! It's very secure, super slim and very stable.Two bits of advice when installing; outline the wall mount on paper and use that paper outline to help you determine where to drill holes on the wall, and the recommended pre-drilled holes were a size or 2 too small. It caused one of my screws to get stripped half way into the stud. We chose a larger drill bit (still smaller than the screw) and that took care of the problem. It would have been nice if they included extra screws and a paper outline but hopefully this review will help you avoid my installation headaches. The unit itself is great and is secure even with only 5 of the 6 screws in.

very easy to install, may need someone to help hold this up when marking drill points.comes assembled. Mounts on studs 16" centered or 24" centeredvery sturdy once installed and you can move the tv with your finger tips
