I was so hoping that this would be the answer to integrating the web with TV - and I still believe it is - or it will be.The idea of being able to have all of the wonderful android apps, as well as the chrome browser - with quicktime, flash etc alongside of regular TV was enticing - and still is.However, the android OS that this box runs is not conducive to the form factor and ergonomics of TV watching. The remote, while still quite amazing - has a full qwerty kbd, and motion sensor for mouse control (you point the remote at the screen, and drag the mouse around by moving the remote) it's still frustrating to use. The app store is not the android market, nor the amazon market -but some other, less well known and less "finished" market, with far fewer apps than expected.The unit also doesn't play youtube videos very well - so poorly that it's not worth trying after a couple of attempts- just fire up the computer, or use your phone.I have a Roku, which I like - but it's a bit of a "walled garden". There's lots of great content available through my roku, but the whole of the 'net isn't available.The seller was great - they took the unit back for a full refund (minus shipping) with no hassles at all.I still believe that this approach will "win" at some point, but it's not ready for prime time just yet.

This is a VERY nice product! After you do the upgrade from Android 2.2 to Android 2.3 the system runs AWESOME!! They are about to release android 4.0. The system model is a Geniatech ATV1000 google how to do the upgrade, if you dont do the upgrade it is not worth getting. You will be able to do everything you can do with your Android phone and MORE.

This is not a google tv box or an approved google android device. This device will not have a legitimate android market place on itthis is just another in the long list of junk that people are making that screws the consumer waste your money if you must.But if you want a true google android device then get an mhl compatible phone or a google tv set top box vizio is about to release an authorized on or get the logitech revue
